Overview
Sacco Mann is working closely with a quality commercial outfit, which, due to expansion, is seeking an experienced and driven contentious construction Solicitor to join their Newcastle-based team. The role offers an exciting opportunity for a senior lawyer, currently at Partner or Senior Associate level, with at least 8 years PQE in dispute resolution with a focus on contentious construction.
The Role
Due to expansion, this brand-new role is an exciting opportunity to work in a team that works with the biggest regional, national, and international clients and is recognised nationally for their work in the construction industry. Whilst ideally looking for a lateral hire, we will also consider those frustrated with the lack of Partnership prospects and looking for that next step.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a contentious construction caseload, working alongside an established non-contentious team
* Supervising junior solicitors
* Providing technical support
* Developing and nurturing client relationships within the department
About You
* Qualified Solicitor with upwards of 8 yrs PQE
* Experience of dealing with the adjudication process is essential
* Ability to manage complex disputes
* Following, not essential, but must be willing to get involved with business development and make the most of your contacts
* Partner or a Managing or Senior Associate looking for that next step up
