Senior Statistical Programmer – FSP | Global Leading CRO | UK / Europe | Home Based
A leading CRO has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Statistical Programmer to join their team, working in an FSP partnership with a global pharmaceutical client. In this role, you will support the development, validation and execution of statistical programming for clinical trials and evidence generation. This is a fully home-based role available across the UK and Europe.
What you will be doing:
* Developing and validating statistical programs to support the analysis and reporting of clinical trial data.
* Creating, reviewing and maintaining SDTM and ADaM datasets in accordance with CDISC standards and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborating with biostatisticians and cross-functional teams to interpret study requirements and implement statistical analyses.
* Supporting the preparation and review of statistical analysis plans (SAPs), programming specifications and derived datasets.
* Building and maintaining R Shiny applications, dashboards and visualisations to support clinical insights and decision making.
* Working with clinical trial and real-world data to ensure accurate evidence generation.
* Ensuring data integrity and compliance with industry standards including ICH/GCP guidelines.
* Contributing to best practices within the programming team and supporting junior programmers where required.
What you will need:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in statistics, mathematics, computer science, data science or another relevant scientific discipline.
* 5 years Statistical Programming experience with in-depth ADaM and SDTM knowledge.
* Proven experience as a Statistical Programmer within the clinical research industry, with strong knowledge of statistical methodologies and programming.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as R/R-Shiny, SAS or Python, with experience in clinical data management systems.
* Strong hands-on experience with R and R-Shiny, including building complex applications and dashboards.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex statistical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with team members.
