Join Our Family Hub Team Based in Edenbridge, Kent
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic Family Hub team, based in Edenbridge, Kent, with travel required across the Sevenoaks District, including to Swanley Family Hub.
As part of Kent County Councils commitment to supporting children and young people aged 019 (or up to 25 with SEND), our Family Hubs offer a wide range of integrated early help services. These include midwifery, health visiting, parenting support, and engaging activities for children and young people.
Your Role: Family Hub Support Worker
Youll play a vital role in delivering 1:1 and group support to young children and their families across various community settings, including home visits. Working flexibly and creatively, youll help shape brighter futures by:
1. Leading play and learning sessions in Family Hubs, homes, and outreach venues.
2. Supporting children through key transitions (e.g. starting preschool or primary school).
3. Promoting digital and virtual Family Hub services.
4. Delivering targeted public health interventions.
5. Facilitating parenting workshops and early education initiatives.
6. Ensuring childrens voices and lived experiences shape our services.
7. Helping families build strong, independent support networks.
This is a flexible role that may include occasional evening and weekend work, coordinated by management to meet the needs of families.
