A well-regarded SEN School in the Borough of Merton is seeking a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. This is a term-time only, full-time role paid on a daily rate.
What will this SEN Teaching Assistant - SEN School position involve?
Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional learning needs
Assisting with EHCP targets and adapting activities to suit individual needs
Supporting class teachers in managing behaviour and promoting engagement
Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Liaising with SENCOs, parents, and external professionals when needed

ABOUT THE ROLE
Supporting children with SEN across EYFS, KS1 and lower KS2
Working closely with class teachers and SEN team
£105 - £115 per day - Term Time Only
ASAP Start - Full-Time Role
Based in the London Borough of Merton

Experience working with children with special educational needs in a school or similar setting
Patient, empathetic, and calm under pressure
Proactive, enthusiastic, and able to build strong relationships with young children
Able to follow support plans and use your initiative
A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
