You will work towards creating a dynamic, sustainable, and high-performing property portfolio that supports service delivery, reduces operational costs, and aligns with Durham County Council's Corporate Asset Management Plan (CAMP). As part of the team responsible for providing the Council with a professional estate service, we are looking for an individual with experience across a range of areas. We would expect applicants to possess knowledge of general estate management, purchase and sale, and valuation, as well as the ability to think strategically to achieve best value for our assets. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent providing a foundation for membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or equivalent appropriate professional body. You should have specialist knowledge of property and property processes and an awareness of estate management principles. Please refer to the attached person specification for the full criteria.
