Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Public Relations professional to join our team. As a PR Account Executive, you will play a key role in delivering successful campaigns for our clients, leveraging your excellent communication skills and passion for science and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective PR strategies to achieve client goals
* Write and distribute press releases, opinion articles, case studies, and other content to targeted media outlets
* Assist with the production of client publications, such as email newsletters, blogs, and in-house magazines
* Undertake research for new business proposals and present findings to potential clients
* Liaise with clients and the media, often via telephone and email, to build relationships and secure coverage
* Monitor the media for rapid response opportunities and collate clippings
* Prepare regular client reports and attend meetings to discuss progress
* Promote news stories and features to the media and place colour separations, competitions, and advertorials for clients
* Collaborate with colleagues to promote Stone Junction through blogging, PR, email marketing, and SEO
* Provide SEO, social media, and online marketing services for clients
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree in a relevant field (such as PR, marketing, or STEM)
* Fluent German language skills (native speaker or C1/C2 level)
* Excellent written and spoken English
* A keen eye for science and engineering trends, with the ability to research quickly and accurately
* Strong time management and communication skills, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
* The ability to form strong relationships with clients and journalists, both face-to-face and remotely
