We are looking for graduates for our Intelligent Infrastructure team at WSP. You will join a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory services consultancy, supporting a diverse range of clients and projects with a collaborative environment.

Areas include human centered design, cyber security, digital design, zero emission vehicles, and active travel, with opportunities to work on high-profile projects.
Projects and activities
As part of the Intelligent Infrastructure team you will help deliver projects such as Sizewell Nuclear Power Plant, HS2, National Highways, Local Authority active travel schemes, A303 Stonehenge tunnel, A83 debris flow shelter, Dartford Tunnel, and Medway Tunnel. Day-to-day activities may include:
* Applying human factors, ergonomics and behaviour change to transportation or infrastructure projects
* Research design, execution and reporting (quantitative and qualitative)
* User identification and profiling including behavioural insights
* Human Factors assessments to inform infrastructure schemes and designs
* Supporting client proposals
Other teams include:
* Policy Monitoring & Evaluation – helps deliver monitoring and evaluation for transport policies and programmes across central and local government.
* Tunnel Systems & Operations – end-to-end tunnel systems design and delivery, including safety and operations across road, rail and utilities sectors.
* Systems & Infrastructure – technology and infrastructure solutions to manage road networks and traffic control strategies.
* Lighting & Energy Solutions – design and consultancy across lighting, electrical and energy projects, with professional development opportunities.
What we will look for
Applicants should typically have a 2:2 or above in a relevant field. Details of application requirements and timelines are provided in the Graduate brochure or Graduate website. Roles start in April or September 2026 and involve a mix of engineering and consulting activities, stakeholder collaboration and problem solving.
