We are seeking a Trainee Pest Management Technician to join our team. This role offers full training to achieve the Level 2 Award in Pest Management, which will enable you to become a fully qualified pest management technician and develop a long-term career The role involves problem-solving, customer service, and fieldwork to help individuals and businesses maintain healthy, pest-free environments. Pest Technician Key Criteria: Hours: Initially 3 days to start with Monday – Friday. Total number of hours per week: 16 hours per week Salary: £12.30 per hour, reviewed after 6 months, then annually, bonuses available. Pest Technician Key Responsibilities: Conduct surveys to identify pest infestations, their extent, and potential entry points. Develop and safely implement treatment plans tailored to each site’s specific needs. Communicate with clients regarding the pest control process, preventative measures, and maintenance for long-term protection. Maintain accurate service records, including details of pest species, treatment methods, and follow-up recommendations. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring responsible use of pesticides and chemicals. Work independently, managing schedules and travel between sites. Qualifications: No prior experience is required; full training will be provided. Experience in a similar role would be beneficial. A valid driver’s licence is essential. Good standard of English & Maths. Must undergo a DBS check. Abilities and Aptitudes: Willingness to learn and develop new skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
