Role Overview: The Head of Offsite Modular Solutions is responsible for shaping, developing and leading the company’s offsite modular offering for decarbonisation projects, including energy centres, district heating systems and renewable technology integrations. You will work closely with clients to understand their technical, commercial and programme requirements, translating these into robust, compliant and buildable modular solutions. Acting as the central point of coordination, you will lead collaboration between Design, BIM, Building Services, Estimating, & Offsite Manufacturing teams to define the optimum technical solution and commercial proposal. This role requires strong leadership in both external client engagement and internal delivery — hosting and chairing client workshops, design reviews, internal coordination meetings and lessons-learnt sessions to continue to improve processes, quality, efficiencies and value engineering. It oversees design coordination across BIM, building services, and engineering teams to ensure compliant, buildable, and high-quality solutions, while integrating low-carbon technologies. The position also supports commercial and estimating functions, aligns technical proposals with budgets and tenders, and manages the transition to offsite manufacturing, including programme planning and risk mitigation. Additionally, it drives quality assurance, standardisation, and continuous improvement, while contributing to business strategy, innovation, and the advancement of modular and sustainable construction practices.
