Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking a proactive and customer-focused 1st and 2nd Line IT Technician to join our IT Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality technical support and play a key role in maintaining and improving IT services across the college.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As a key member of the IT Services team, you will:
* Provide outstanding first and second-line IT support to staff and students.
* Diagnose and resolve IT incidents, escalating where necessary.
* Manage service requests, conduct IT changes, and maintain accurate system records.
* Assist with IT asset management, including audits, provisioning, and installations.
* Contribute to IT projects and provide technical guidance where required.
* Mentor junior apprentices and maintain operational knowledge base articles.
* Ensure IT security is prioritised across all activities.
