We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Technician to join our Functional Foot Orthoses team at our Sheffield Manufacturing site. As Apprentice Technician, you will learn to manufacture and repair Orthotic products to specification. To provide a quality, cost effective product and to meet our clinical key performance indicators. Key duties and responsibilities: Interpretating and understanding Orthotic specifications supplied by Clinician. Manufacturing and adjusting Orthoses using a wide range of appropriate materials and tools. Maintaining production records. Stock control Receiving training in all core skills and in areas of production. Working towards completion of apprenticeship and relevant training portfolios and necessary documentation What are we looking for? As Apprentice Technician, you will have the following. Essential skills Maths and English GCSE or equivalent. Good hand/manufacturing/craft skills Able to communicate effectively with all members of the team. Team player Attention to detail.
