Contract Type: Permanent | Working Hours: 37 hours per week, flexible and agile working (by agreement) to cover the service 24 hours per day and 7 days a week
About the Role
We are looking for a talented individual to join our workforce as a Drainage Engineer Assistant. Read on to find out more about the role, requirements and benefits.
Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of a wide range of drainage tasks, including jetting, cleaning, and assisting with underground burst repairs.
* Work closely with trade colleagues to provide an effective and efficient service to clients and tenants, ensuring high standards of safety and professionalism.
* Operate mechanical cleaning equipment, drive jetting machines and mini diggers, and work both independently and as part of a team.
* Ensure adherence to health and safety practices, relevant materials, and site procedures.
About You / Qualifications
* Experience in carrying out drainage clearance/repairs.
* Experience with mechanical cleaning machines.
* Physically capable of frequent lifting and carrying heavy/awkward loads, including stairs or ladders.
* Hold a full current driving license.
* Practical application of Health and Safety legislation in construction, particularly Health and Safety at Work and COSHH regulations.
* Able to work as part of a team or on own initiative.
