We're working alongside a national, top-100 UK law firm, looking for a Clinical Negligence Paralegal to join our client's growing Manchester team. You'll support solicitors on a varied caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters, assisting from initial instruction through to settlement or trial. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on litigation experience within a structured and supportive team environment.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting fee earners with the day-to-day management of clinical negligence claims
* Obtaining, reviewing and organising medical records
* Preparing chronologies, summaries and case plans
* Drafting correspondence, witness statements and court documents
* Liaising with clients, medical experts, counsel and third parties
* Supporting with pre-action protocol steps and litigation procedures
* Preparing trial bundles and hearing documentation
* Updating case management systems and maintaining accurate file records
What we need from you:
* Previous experience within clin neg or PI litigation
* Understanding of the litigation process and pre-action protocols
* Strong drafting and organisational skills
* Confident client communication skills
