The Role
As a Science ECT, you will:
• Teach engaging and well-structured Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Support students in developing curiosity and understanding across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
• Contribute to a collaborative Science Department focused on high achievement.
• Participate in enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs and science competitions.
• Receive dedicated mentoring and professional development throughout your ECT induction.
Requirements
The successful candidate:
• Is completing their PGCE or equivalent qualification and holds QTS.
• Has strong subject knowledge in Science.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm for inspiring students in scientific thinking.
• Has excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Is committed to continuous professional development.
