Full-time Sous Chef (45hrs a week) over 5 days
Working hours: 11am – 9pm
Hourly rate: 16 per hour

We're looking for a talented and enthusiastic Sous Chef to join our busy, high-quality fish restaurant.
As our Sous Chef, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional seafood dishes to our guests. You'll bring creativity, precision, and a deep understanding of fresh produce, including shellfish and oysters.
What you'll do:
Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of seafood dishes to the highest standard.
Handle and prepare fresh shellfish, oysters, and other seafood safely and expertly.
Help develop new seasonal menus and specials.
Maintain excellent hygiene, food safety, and stock control practices.
Lead, train, and motivate junior kitchen staff.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a seafood-focused kitchen.
Skilled in the preparation and service of shellfish, oysters, and a wide range of fish.
Knowledge of current food trends, seasonal produce, and allergy/dietary requirements.
A team player with strong communication and organisational skills.
A passion for delivering outstanding food and guest experiences.
Education and Work Experience:
Knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety Level 3 Certification
Minimum 4 years' work experience in similar role.
