The role
:
The job involves taking calls for assistance, advising customers of progress and keeping all parties informed. The CSA position provides the vital link between motoring organisations, roadside staff and the customer / motorist.
Duties of the position include:
1. Receiving calls for assistance via telephone, online messaging system, internal messaging system & RAM communications
2. Recording all details taken from customers on the computer database.
3. Communicating with all staff via telephone, internal messaging & email.
4. Updating computer records with details of each job as operatives arrive and complete tasks.
5. Receive calls regarding queries of non roadside services including parking and workshop services
Competencies required:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self motivated professional with the following qualities:
6. Team skills – you will need to work with a small team of people within the Control Room and good communication is essential
7. Customer skills –an excellent telephone manner
8. Working in a busy environment –at times the Control Room can be a very hectic place, with many phone calls and high work volumes. You will need to deal with this calmly but still be able to focus on delivering great service.
Shift pattern
9. Four days on, four days off
10. 12 Hour working shift pattern. – weekdays 0900-2100 and weekends 1000-2200
