Facilities Manager
Location: Redhill
Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 per year
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.
Job type: Full-time, permanent

Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit for an experienced Facilities Manager to join their ever-expanding team. You will maintain and oversee the facilities to ensure a safe, efficient, and productive environment.
Responsibilities of the Facilities Manager:
Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the facilities team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all equipment and systems within the facility.
To lead on the management of the FM service providers with respect to control, performance and budgeting.
Oversee project management for facility upgrades, renovations, or repairs, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Maintain schematics of facility layouts, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.
Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
Coordinate with external contractors for specialised repairs or services as required.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing necessary protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Provide leadership and training to staff members to enhance their skills in facilities management.
Advises Site Managers of HSE-related matters
Requirements of the Facilities Manager:
Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role with strong supervisory skills.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to conduct a "root cause" analysis.
Understanding general standards, regulations and related statutes.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating independent decision-making capabilities.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong logical reasoning skills.
