Your new role
Site Supervisor required to work on highways maintenance across Cambridgeshire helping to keep roads safe and efficient. Using cutting-edge innovations to deliver planned and reactive maintenance, as well as highway improvement schemes.
Duties include:
* Oversee delivery of highway maintenance services, ensuring work meets contract requirements and customer expectations.
* Plan, programme, and supervise all allocated works to specification and within agreed commercial limits.
* Manage operational performance and margins from planning through on-site supervision.
* Take responsibility for Health & Safety compliance, including toolbox talks and safe working practices.
* Ensure all work follows company procedures, with accurate coding and documentation of changes.
* Set and monitor objectives for time, cost, safety, and quality.
* Lead and develop your team, providing training and support to operatives and apprentices.
* Manage depot vehicles and plant.
* Participate in emergency and winter maintenance activities.
What you'll need to succeed
* Experience in construction delivery and workforce supervision.
* Commercial awareness with a focus on cost control and efficiency.
* Background in highway maintenance or relevant certifications (CSCS, NRSWA, SSSTS/SMSTS).
* Strong leadership and motivational skills.
* IT literacy, ideally with Microsoft Office.
