We have an exciting, new vacancy for an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) to join our friendly team in Herefordshire. We are a local Financial Adviser firm on the outskirts of Hereford. Within our ever-expanding client base, we specialise predominantly in Retirement Planning and Investment Advice. We are seeking the right candidate who will be qualified to at least Level 4, or be prepared to study, and who will have the desire to develop their skills and to participate in further training where necessary. Our existing team have been selected for their knowledge, IT and interpersonal skills and we pride ourselves in this area with our philosophy of, "one team, one goal". We have a full support team including paraplanning facilities.
We are seeking an approachable yet professional individual to expand our friendly team. This individual will need to be able to act with integrity, be a great team player and to put client welfare at the very forefront of their role. The role will require travel in Herefordshire and the surrounding area, including Ross-on-Wye, Monmouthshire and Gwent. The majority of the meetings are office based.
Our company provides a personable and comprehensive service to both existing and new clients alike and draws on many years financial services experience. Our main aim is to provide a "comprehensive wealth management service on a very personal basis." We are not interested in sales. We pride ourselves in long-standing, quality advice with the client being at the forefront of our process. We do not sell products.

We have well established connections with a number of leading UK stockbrokers allowing us to have share portfolios of all sizes, professionally managed, on an ongoing basis. We pride ourselves in working together to ensure all our client's requirements are met both now and, in the future, offering an effective, approachable wealth management service. The right candidate will have excellent IT skills and would be willing to develop their current skills in this area.
Job Type
Full-time: (Hours to be negotiated)
Salary: Starting from £40,000 to £55,000 to be negotiated depending on experience
Location: Herefordshire. You will need to travel to and from the office (Whitestone) or wish to relocate. The facility of home working may be available to the right candidate alongside working in the office. There will be the need to travel to visit clients in Herefordshire, Monmouthshire and Gwent and other surrounding areas.
Qualifications and Skills
* Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning with the desire to continue further professional development and obtain chartered status
* Qualified to GCSE level with grades C and above in Maths and English.
* 3 years' + experience in financial advice (preferred)
* Excellent time management skills as you will be managing your own caseload
* A great team player as you will be working with a friendly team in an open plan office
* Excellent IT skills utilising the latest equipment and software including Microsoft Office
* Possess an approachable and personable demeanour
* Honest and reliable with a professional attitude
* Excellent analytical and communication skills.
