As a Distribution Centre Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall management, performance, and safety of the depot. This includes overseeing daily operations, managing teams, ensuring customer satisfaction, KPIs, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations. You'll drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize processes to achieve operational excellence.

Your role as Distribution Centre Manager
* Responsible for adopting a cultural transformation towards operational excellence, using continuous improvement and lean methodologies to eliminate waste while ensuring Safety, Service, Cost, and Environmental standards.
* Implement change to foster a distribution culture prioritizing safety and continuous improvement at all levels.
* Ensure on-time and in-full delivery targets are met.
* Lead efforts to improve employee engagement across the site.
* Manage the site P&L and budget, mitigating risks and capitalizing on opportunities.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure confidence in service provision.
* Ensure statutory compliance and governance, including adherence to O licence requirements.
What you'll bring
* Experience in operational excellence and lean methodologies.
* Project management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong management experience within logistics, supply chain, or operations.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop diverse teams, focused on results and engagement.
* Solid understanding of budgeting, financial management, and cost control.
