Job Summary
Moog Aircraft Group is recruiting for a Materials Planner to join our team based at our Wolverhampton Site. This is a crucial role to the business as you will play a major role in ensuring our customer requirements are met.
As a Material Planner working for a low volume, high value manufacturer of cutting-edge components, you will be responsible for the coordination and management of several Programs, releasing and controlling of work into our fabrication facility.
This role will require interaction with our internal manufacturing & assembly functions to ensure the release of products in time to meet the demands of the customer. People who can overcome resistance and gain the buy in of the key stakeholders will do well in this role. You will also need to be a proactive and innovative person to resolve issues which could have a direct impact on flow of the work.

Key Skills and experience:
A high standard of secondary education is required.
Proven track record of production planning and scheduling desirable.
Experience of Modern ERP System.
Managing releases of production work to shop floor in accordance with customer requirements.
Create and maintain the progress tracker for the WIP.
Identify and monitor the constraints work centre.
Liaising with relevant departments to understand and solve the concerns to minimise production delays.
Regular interaction with cell team leaders and operators to understand and prioritise WIP.
Ability to prioritise workloads and capable of multitasking.
Excellent use of MS Office required
Experience of producing & analysing KPI’s and delivering regular written and verbal communications.
