Duties of the MOT Technician
* Conduct MOT tests and re-tests in accordance with DVSA regulations
* Perform servicing, maintenance, and repair work to high standards as an MOT Technician
* Carry out diagnostics and fault-finding on a variety of vehicles
* Complete all relevant documentation accurately and efficiently
* Perform pre‑delivery inspections and vehicle preparation as an MOT Technician
* Assist customers and liaise with them about vehicle repairs and work
* Work independently and contribute effectively as part of a team
Requirements
* Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
* Valid MOT Tester Licence
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
* Reliable team player with high attention to detail
* Motivated with a professional approach to work
