The Head of Markets & Industry Programmes leads the development and execution of Deloitte’s outwardly focussed go-to-market strategy and execution programmes. This role is responsible for driving growth and market leadership by developing and implementing targeted client engagement programmes and overseeing the teams that support Deloitte's Industry and priority markets Leaders.
* Develop and activate comprehensive go-to-market growth strategies for each of Deloitte's key industry and priority markets, aligning market choices with the firm's overall business objectives.
* Lead support for the Market leaders in the review of the marketplace and the priority choices of ‘where to play’ – in terms of sectors, sub-sectors, clusters and clients – and ‘how to play’ – the growth offerings and propositions that matter most to our clients in those markets.
* Identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats within each market.
* Support the C&M lead to create a discipline and culture of pointing our investments and GTM activities across the C&M landscape to these strategic choices, not just through direct reports but by ensuring all C&M understands market and client growth priorities and activity is aligned to these.
* Lead and manage a team of market support professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities.
* Develop and manage the budget allocated for industry go-to-market programmes.
* Collaborate effectively with other C&M teams, including Client, Sales Excellence, Market Eminence and Brand and Marketing to ensure that support for our go-to-market strategy and plans is aligned.
* Lead support for our market leaders in the building of market networks and communities, and the engagement of partners and staff in those communities to ensure that there is a shared understanding of the go-to-market strategy and plan and we have alignment around the agreed market priorities.
* Lead support for our market leaders in the development of market talent – succession planning, client leader talent programme nominations for LCSPs and LBPs.
