We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team in the Outpatients Department as Clinic Co-ordinators.
The post holders will be part of a team that greets patients as they arrive in the Outpatient area for appointments across the Trust. They will handle patient and relative inquiries regarding appointments and book follow-up appointments before patients leave the hospital.
The role involves providing an efficient, effective, and positive reception service, greeting and welcoming patients, visitors, members of the public, and staff in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner. They will offer a choice of dates and times for appointments and assist patients having telephone or video conference appointments, ensuring they can access the systems and communicate with clinicians in a timely manner. Additionally, they will direct patients attending in person to other departments for diagnostic tests.
Responsibilities include ensuring all administrative processes are followed and data entry is completed daily. The post holder will liaise regularly with clinicians and nurses in the clinic to resolve any issues as they arise.
