Position: Music Teacher

Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (with strong potential for a permanent role and leadership opportunities)
Pay Range: £160 – £240 per day (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Overview:
A secondary school near Andover is seeking a Music Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a supportive and collaborative department.
For the right candidate, there is a strong potential for leadership development, including progression to Head of Department. The school is looking to appoint permanently, offering long-term career growth for a dedicated and ambitious educator.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons to students in KS3 and KS4
* Foster creativity, musicality, and a love of learning through practical and theory-based teaching
* Support student progress through differentiated learning and constructive feedback
* Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the department’s curriculum and extracurricular offering
* Contribute to school life, including performances, music clubs, and events
* Demonstrate leadership potential and a willingness to contribute to departmental development

Requirements:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching Music at Key Stages 3 and 4
