Class 2 Driver - Night Network
Location: Leigh
Shift times: Monday to Friday starting at 11pm
Pay Rate: £16 per hour
We're looking for full-time, Class 2 Drivers to join us at our site in Leigh with an immediate start on a temporary ongoing basis!
Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Load your own vehicle with roll cages
2. Multidrop deliveries between customer sites
3. Delivering car parts to showrooms and garages
4. Operate alone unloading roll cages during the night
5. Adhere to all customer site security and procedures
6. Safely operate your vehicle adhering to business standards.
7. Using a handheld scanner and completing relevant paperwork
8. Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA.
Requirements:
9. Must have a multidrop experience!
10. HGV2 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
11. No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
12. A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
13. Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
