Due to continued growth, our client a respected independent accountancy and business advisory firm operating across the North of England and Scotland is seeking a Financial Planning Consultant to join its Financial Planning Team based in Glasgow.
What you'll do
* Understand client objectives and deliver tailored financial planning solutions
* Provide consistent, high-quality ongoing advice
* Drive business development by identifying and converting new prospects
* Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge relevant to the role
* Achieve individual revenue targets
* Build and expand professional networks through events and engagement
What you'll need
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 6 desirable)
* At least 2 years' advisory experience in the financial services industry
* Strong understanding of COBS, COCON, and FCA Money Laundering regulations (SYSC)
* Basic awareness of related accountancy services (Audit, Tax, Insolvency, etc.)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities; able to work under pressure
* Good general IT skills
* High attention to detail, ensuring quality in all reporting
