Job Description
· Temporary appointment to cover responsibility for the company's transactional recording.· Management of the company bank account, including recording of receipts and payments and bank reconciliations.· Management of the company purchase ledger, including supplier management, invoice posting, supplier payments and statement reconciliations.· Management of the company sales ledger, including credit control and debt collection, query resolution, credit insurance management and customer statement distribution.· Management of the invoice discounting facility, including submission of sales invoices and credit notes.· Analysis of monthly credit card expenditure.· Perform any other tasks as required by the business.
The Successful Applicant
3. A strong background in accounting and finance within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
7. Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
8. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
