an enthusiastic, innovative, adaptable Clinical Psychologist keen to develop experience, knowledge and skills in working in staff support. The Psychological Health Services (PHS) Staff Support Team aims deliver evidence-based psychological care for staff working in UHBW. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an innovative and well established staff support service.

We work together to grow and shape the department; we make effective use of a variety of internal communication tools so you are up to date and can link in with surveys about what matters to you. Membership of departmental service delivery groups give the opportunity to broaden skills and experiences and be involved in wider psychology initiatives.
As a large department Psychological Health Services provides clinical psychology services to a wide range of specialist multidisciplinary teams. Although the current recruitment is for a specific post, we welcome applications and enquiries from those who are interested in wider opportunities within our portfolio. As a way to support individual development, growth of expertise and service priorities, successful applicants may benefit from opportunities to work into other clinical areas through discussion and planning with their line manager and head of service.
· To provide clinical psychology services, primarily but not exclusively to Staff Support team, including specialist assessment, formulation, and intervention for psychological distress related to work, trauma and organisational stressors.
· To enhance the quality of psychological care for staff working in UHBW through delivery and evaluation of specialist clinical psychology assessment and intervention services.
· To work closely with multi professional clinical teams across the organisation, through joint working, consultation, training and service development activities, psychological knowledge and skills to enable evidence-based staff support.
· To participate in research and audit activity in collaboration with other professional groups and other providers as appropriate, to increase the evidence base and support the sharing of good practice in psychological care for staff working in healthcare.
· To provide a clinical health placement and opportunities for research for trainee clinical psychologists as requested.
· To provide clinical supervision and training for psychologists and other staff as requested by the Head Psychological Health Services
