RMI is seeking dynamic health care professionals to join our team. We have ad hoc opportunities for virtual consultations. SUMMARY Provide high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to children and adults with sensory processing difficulties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following: Conduct comprehensive sensory integration assessments using standardized tools and clinical observations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings. Provide direct therapy services to clients, utilizing sensory integration techniques to address sensory processing and motor planning issues. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, and educational staff, to ensure holistic care. Educate and support families and caregivers on sensory integration strategies to use at home and in the community. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Participate in continuing professional development to stay current with best practices in sensory integration and occupational therapy. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor�s or Master�s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution. Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Certification in Sensory Integration (e.g., through Sensory Integration Education or equivalent). REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: Proven experience working with individuals with sensory processing difficulties. Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience in a variety of settings, including schools, clinics, and community-based environments. Knowledge of additional therapeutic approaches and interventions.
