The Role Carry out a wide range of reactive and planned maintenance carpentry across campus buildings. Repair and install door hardware, access control, and fire-release mechanisms. Assemble and fit kitchen units and worktops.
Support listed building works and help preserve heritage assets. Provide input on small projects, estimates, and improvements. Join the on-call rota (one weekend in 4-5) with a £2,750 allowance plus overtime for call-outs.
Work independently and as part of a collaborative maintenance team. The Person NVQ Level 3 or recognised apprenticeship in Carpentry (or equivalent). Skilled in maintenance carpentry across doors, fittings, and building fabric.
