Job Overview
Are you a health professional who wants to build a career caring for children and are eager to develop your skills and knowledge?

If you are an enthusiastic, caring professional who has a passion for supporting children and families by providing high standards of clinical care from 7 days through to 18 years of age within Airedale Hospital Children's Services we would like to hear from you.

You will need to be kind and responsive and remain professional and informative and contribute to the quality of the services we provide. You will need to have good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a caring and supportive approach to working.

We are currently looking for Senior Health Care Support Worker skilled in the care of children with acute and elective health care needs, to join our Childrens Unit Team. In order to achieve our vision for the future we currently have posts available for someone who possess essential levels of practical skills and knowledge in caring for children needing acute and planned care.

Main duties of the job

Qualifications
Essential criteria

* NVQ Level 2 Care
* Maths and English at Grade C/Level 2 or Grade 4 GCSE

Desirable criteria

* NVQ level 3 Care

Experience

* Previous care experience.

Knowledge

* Verbal and Written Command of English

Desirable criteria

* Evidence of Previous Qualifications/ Courses Passed
