Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the childcare industry, with a focus on delivering the EYFS. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring that our children and parents receive exceptional service while maintaining high standards of safeguarding and quality.
Duties
* Assist in the management of daily operations, ensuring smooth running of the nursery.
* Oversee the day to day running of the rooms, supporting staff members with the EYFS.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
* Implement safeguarding protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.
* Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
* Train new staff members.
* Handle inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
* Collaborate with the management team to develop and improve, that reflect new standards and preferences.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within childcare. .
* Excellent leadership abilities, capable of motivating and managing a diverse team.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations.
* Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* A passion for childcare.
