RAC Technician & Mobile Mechanic

Roadside Patrol Technician
* Diagnose and repair vehicles at the roadside
* Work independently in a fast‑paced, reactive environment
* Tackle a variety of issues from batteries and tyres to complex fault‑finding
* Operate from a fully equipped RAC van, ending the day at home
Mobile Vehicle Technician (SMR)
* Pre‑booked appointments at members’ homes or workplaces
* Follow structured schedules with adequate time for high‑quality repair and servicing
* Focus on in‑depth servicing, diagnostics and routine repairs without emergency call‑outs
Qualifications
* A Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
* A full UK driving licence
* A customer‑focused approach and confidence working independently
