About the Role NexHire Medical is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of a care home in Birmingham. The successful candidate will provide strong leadership, ensure high-quality care delivery, and maintain compliance with CQC standards. Ensure full compliance with CQC and other relevant regulations. Lead, support, and develop staff to deliver outstanding care. Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders. Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of staff. Monitor and manage budgets, resources, and occupancy levels. Drive continuous improvement in service quality and operational efficiency. Essential Requirements Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a care home or care agency. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent qualification). Must hold a full UK driving licence and be able to travel as required. Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding practices. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Desirable Skills & Attributes A proven track record of achieving “Good” or “Outstanding” CQC ratings. Experience in managing budgets and delivering business growth.
