F.H.Brundle is a wholesale specialist in the supply of a wide range of metal building and fabrication products to the trade. It stocks over 11,000 product lines and is constantly expanding the product range to add to its specialist reputation in the supply of wire mesh fencing and railing, clamps, flooring and grating, and wrought iron products. It supplied products to over 40,000 different customers last year. F.H.Brundle can proudly claim to be leading wholesale suppliers in their product ranges - but it still maintains those traditional values first established back in the 1880's. The company puts great store on the value of retaining the personal touch. It employs its own fleet of delivery vehicles and ensures that staff at each of its branches place customer service right at the top of their list of priorities. The business has a tremendous record of growth and is testament to the family's commitment to reinvesting surplus profits within the business. HGV Class 2 Driver
with
HIAB crane grab experience
to be a crucial part of our expanding team. This is more than just a driving job; you'll be the face of our company, safely and efficiently delivering essential products to a mix of commercial and residential clients.
What You'll Do:
* Become the expert behind the wheel of our 18-tonne DAF Rigid, using its front-mounted HIAB crane grab to load and unload a diverse range of metal products.
* Navigate your pre-planned routes with precision, ensuring every delivery is on time and every customer is left with a positive impression.
* Leverage our digital tablet system to manage your deliveries and capture proof of delivery.
* Be proactive and responsible by performing daily vehicle checks, keeping our fleet safe and operational.
* Champion our commitment to safety by following all road and company regulations to the letter.
We're Looking For Someone With:
* A valid HGV (Class 2) license and up-to-date HIAB certification.
* A Driver CPC qualification.
* A solid background in HGV driving, with demonstrable experience operating a HIAB crane.
* An excellent command of the road network, particularly in and around Hampshire and Bristol.
* A strong customer-first attitude and great communication skills.
* The resilience to work outdoors, no matter the weather.
