The Workday Data Manager is a “go to” practic e leader that provides expert guidance, advice, and development support to the Consulting management team and their subsequent team members. This individual will assist the sales team wit h sales activities such a s orals, e s timations, and State m ents of Wor k ( S OW’s ). Thi s person works closely wit h Engagement Managers, Pr ojec t Managers, Managing Consultants, an d leads, an d act s a s a liaison between th e Consulting tea m an d executive management. This person will assist in identifying business needs, staffing proje c t s, and ensuring that the wor k /life balance of our consultants i s monitored and adjusted appropriately. Responsibilities: Projec t O versight : Oversight responsibility fo r proje c ts acros s the pra c tice. Oversee and assis t Engagement Managers and team members when needed to identify projec t needs, reduce ri s k and develop solutions and strategies Ability to act as a Data Conversion Lead on Workday implementations, including the ability to use Advance Loads, Migration Recipes, EIBs and the Configuration Change Tracker Ability to jump in and support projects with little to no guidance. Sales Support : Support the R F P response and pursuit proce s s fo r Consulting work. Team Leadership: Assist in the recruitmen t, development, and management of a diverse, remote tea m of consultan t s supporting Wo r kday applications. Promote a team-oriented, challenging and innovative work environment. Lead and manage a team of consultants to ensure they are adhering to the a c tivities, processes and procedures outlined in Workday our internally developed methodology. Drive team and individuals to achieve high customer s a tisfaction levels. Ability to establish immediate c redibility with clients and within the company; can build consensus and achieve goals thr o ugh influence. Ability to build trust-based relationship and identify and foster business development opportunities. People Development: Perform role o f mento r and coach. Analyze team skills and provide fo r cros s training to m a intain teams’ ability to sta f f pr o ject s appropriately. Advise management team o n team members’ level of e xpertise and availability. Performance Management : Establish direct reports’ goals and o b jectives during th e bi-annual review process. Direct the collection o f performance feedback fro m cus t omer and engagement/project manager on a quarterly basis or u pon completion of proje c t fo r your entire team. Direct the collection o f all internal contributions for team members assuring data is received by HR on a quarterly basis. Drive bi-annual performance review process for the Consulting team. Additional Responsibilities: Review estimates fo r sales opportunities. Review SOW s fo r language and accuracy. Attend Orals and prospect meetings. Manage utilization to targets. Monitor the sales pipeline to ensure accurate capacity planning for the team along with assigning resources to pr o ject s. Schedule regular 1:1 meetings with direct and indirect r eports. Assess team membe r skills and maintain skills matri x. Meet with team member s bi-annually to provide performance and client satisfaction feedback. Skills & Requirements: Possess 3-5 year s of Workday Consult i ng implementation experience, including required Workday certification(s). Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Proven experience leading a virtual team. Required characteristics: fa s t learner, d e tail oriented, decisive, and enjoy fast paced wor k environments. Must wor k well within and across team s to g e t things a ccomplished. Possess sales engagement experience estimating and presenting to prospects.
