Mechanical Planner
Location: 2 Days Office / 3 days hybrid. Type: Full-time. Start Date: Immediate. Salary: Competitive.
The Role
* Develop and manage detailed schedules for mechanical scopes across the project lifecycle
* Integrate mechanical activities into the wider programme, ensuring alignment with other disciplines
* Ensure schedules accurately reflect constraints, dependencies and delivery sequencing
* Provide insight into progress, risks and opportunities across mechanical workstreams
* Support improvements in planning standards and outputs
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain mechanical schedules within Primavera P6
* Coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction teams to gather planning inputs
* Monitor progress and identify deviations from the plan
* Support reporting outputs including lookaheads and progress updates
* Manage interfaces with contractors and supply chain partners
What we’re looking for
* Strong planning capability within mechanical or engineering environments
* Detail-oriented with a structured approach to work
* Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
* Commercial awareness of project delivery
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience & Skills
* Experience in mechanical planning within infrastructure or construction projects
* Strong Primavera P6 skills
* Understanding of mechanical installation and commissioning processes
* Experience working in multi-disciplinary environments
* Relevant technical or engineering background
