Job Duties:
* Provide support to Key Stage 2 (KS2) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
* Assist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans for students with SEN
* Help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
* Support students in their learning activities and personal care needs
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals to meet the needs of SEN students
Required Qualifications:
* Relevant experience working with children with SEN
* Understanding of SEN support strategies
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Education:
Minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
Experience:
Prior experience working in a school or educational setting with SEN students
Knowledge and Skills:
* Knowledge of SEN support techniques and resources
* Ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual student needs
* Strong organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs
* Training in safeguarding and first aid
Working Conditions:
* Temporary position with Full-Time hours
* Work within a school setting with KS2 students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
