Salary up to £70,000 DOE

At Andale Veterinary Centre, we are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to become part of our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a wide range of cases including consultations, routine surgeries and medical cases. Whether you are an experienced vet, or just starting your career, our supportive environment is the perfect place for you to thrive.

Our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours truly tips the scale on your work‑life balance. We understand that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career, and we want to make it brilliantly easy for you to strike the right balance. A typical full‑time role would involve working up to 40 hours per week over a 4‑ or 5‑day week depending on your preference. There is a 1 in 3 Saturday morning (9–12), no out‑of‑hours, bank holiday or on‑call required.

Andale Veterinary Centre is ideally situated just minutes away from major transport links like the M57, M62 and Mersey Gateway Bridge leading to the Wirral and North Wales. You will have easy access to John Lennon Airport, Liverpool City Centre, the beautiful Lake District and bustling Manchester all within a short distance.

Andale is a state‑of‑the‑art, purpose‑built small animal facility. We boast six consulting rooms, an in‑house laboratory, digital X‑ray, ultrasound, dental X‑ray and two well‑equipped theatres, complemented by separate dog and cat wards. Being RCVS accredited and a training practice, we maintain the highest standards. We have large on‑site parking facilities ensuring convenience for both clients and staff.

At Andale Veterinary Centre, we are more than just a team, we’re a close‑knit family that enjoys working together. You will be surrounded by five receptionists, eight highly skilled RVNs, one SVN and a VCA, all under the leadership of our practice director, senior veterinary surgeon, head nurse and head receptionist. As part of our group of five veterinary surgeons, you will have ample opportunities for team meetings, regular appraisals and team nights out.
