Responsibilities
You’ll work an average of 40 hours per week across the year, with your roster released seven days in advance and core working hours confirmed three days prior. Shifts range from 06:00 to 02:00, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
On the roadside, you’ll diagnose faults, resolve flat tyres and battery issues, manage your kit, keep your van stocked and handle reports with precision. Every call‑out is a chance to showcase the RAC difference.
Qualifications
* A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with demonstrative technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
* A full UK driving licence.
* A customer‑focused approach.
* Flexibility to work at short notice and travel with overnight stays if necessary.
* Problem‑solving skills, people orientation and confidence in your craft.
