Role SummaryThis position plays a key role in sustaining and improving a mobile platform that enables offline capabilities and supports operational teams in the field. The role will start as a contract engagement, with the possibility of bing a permanent opportunity.
Core Responsibilities
4. Design, build, and refine mobile applications with a strong emphasis on offline usability.
5. Work closely with technical and business teams to deliver intuitive, reliable solutions.
6. Diagnose and resolve issues, particularly those impacting offline performance, to ensure smooth user experience.
7. Document technical workflows and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions.
8. Assist in scaling and deploying the mobile solution across operational environments.
9. Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions within agreed timelines.
Required Skills & Experience
10. Demonstrated expertise in mobile development for iOS and/or Android.
11. Solid understanding of offline-first principles and data sync mechanisms.
12. Hands-on experience with frameworks such as React Native, Flutter, or native development using Swift/Kotlin.
13. Skilled in integrating mobile apps with backend APIs and services.
14. Ability to work autonomously and prioritise tasks in a dynamic setting.
Preferred Skills
15. Exposure to full-stack development and broader system architecture.
16. Background in transport or field-service applications.
17. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile deployments.
