Duties as SEND Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils with SEND across all year groups Differentiate teaching strategies to meet individual learning requirements and EHCP targets Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted interventions Work closely with support staff and SENCO to implement personalised learning plans Promote emotional resilience and positive behaviour through consistent strategies Uphold safeguarding standards and ensure the welfare of all pupils Ideal SEND Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching pupils with SEND Strong understanding of strategies for supporting diverse needs, including Autism, MLD, and SEMH Ability to build positive relationships and inspire confidence in pupils Excellent classroom management and organisational skills Patience, resilience, and a proactive approach to supporting individual needs Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare Why Step Teachers?
