GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Sports Coach to join schools in the Killamarsh (S21) area. As a Sports Coach, this role is ideal for someone with a passion for sports who can motivate and guide students to develop their skills, confidence, and fitness in a positive and inclusive environment. Responsibilities as a Sports Coach : Deliver fun and engaging PE lessons and sports activities tailored to pupils of different ages and abilities. Support students in developing physical skills, coordination, and positive attitudes toward fitness. Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behaviour in all activities. Assist in planning and supervising extracurricular sports clubs, competitions, and events. Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure all students are supported effectively. Requirements for Sports Coach : Prior experience coaching children or young people, preferably in a school setting. Strong knowledge and skills in a variety of sports and physical activities. Excellent communication, motivation, and organisational skills. Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for inspiring students. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
