Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for a General Freight Forwarder to join their office in Maldon.
* Arrange full loads, part loads and groupage shipments
* Liaise with drivers, hauliers, carriers, and warehouses
* Monitor shipments, track deliveries, and resolve delays – proactivity.
* Handle customer inquiries and provide shipment updates
* Maintain accurate transport and billing records
Required
* Familiarity with customs procedures
* Ability to manage multiple shipments under tight deadlines
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
* Negotiation skills and commercial awareness
