Are you a qualified social worker with a passion for criminal justice? Do you have essential LSCMI training and want to use your skills to motivate and support individuals within the prison system? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a supportive and dedicated team in East Dunbartonshire.
This role offers a minimum of 3 months of work at a fantastic hourly rate of up to £38, with the chance to truly make a difference in people's lives.
What You'll Do:
* Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and reviews.
* Manage your own caseload and provide crucial support to adults.
* Partner with the Scottish Prison Service to ensure effective service delivery.
* Lead risk management through case conferences and MAPPA meetings.
What We're Looking For:
* A Social Work Degree and current registration with the SSSC.
* Active membership in the PVG scheme.
* Essential: LSCMI trained.
* Desirable: Training in RoSH, SA07, and RM2000.
* Required: Experience in preparing TARL reports.
* Previous experience in criminal justice and a solid grasp of relevant risk assessment tools.
* Strong knowledge of the legislative frameworks and the unique dynamics of a prison environment.
