This position involves supporting the Project Manager and project team in various aspects of project management, including planning, scheduling, execution, and coordination. The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for relieving the Project Manager from day-to-day tasks, maintaining project momentum, and ensuring compliance with QHSE, financial, and contractual requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

* Project Coordination:
Support the planning, scheduling, and execution of offshore cable lay and burial operations.
">
* Operational Support:
Assist in vessel mobilisations, daily offshore operations, and logistics.
">
* Reporting:
Prepare daily progress reports, update project trackers, and maintain documentation.
">
* Financial Assistance:
Track project budgets, purchase orders, and assist with cost control.
">
* QHSE Compliance:
Support safety initiatives, reporting, and ensure operations meet health, safety, and environmental standards.
">
* Stakeholder Communication:
Coordinate between internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and vessel crews.
">
* Procurement Support:
Assist with subcontractor management and equipment procurement.
">
* Project Close-out:
Help compile final reports, lessons learned, and close-out documentation.
">

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

* On-Time Task Completion:
Support tasks delivered as per project schedule.
">
* Cost Control Accuracy:
Correct tracking and forecasting of project costs.

* Quality of Reporting:
Timely and complete submission of project documentation.

* Operational Readiness:
Vessel mobilisation/demobilisation support completed on time.

* QHSE Contribution:
Active participation in maintaining safety and environmental standards.

Requirements:
">

* Degree/Master's educated – BEng/BSC in relevant engineering/management discipline.
">
* Substantial experience as a Project Manager in oil and gas, subsea, or other related industry.
">
* Able to read and understand contracts.
">
* IT literate including Excel, Word, Power Point etc.
">
">
Desirable Qualifications:

* Prince2 foundation.
">
* Project Management Qualification (PMQ, formerly known as the APMP).
