Graduate Civil Engineer/CAD Technician (AutoCAD/REVIT) – Dunfermline, Scotland
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000, plus training, progression, overtime, flexitime, hybrid, pension.
The role
As a Graduate CAD Technician, you will design and develop technical drawings, adjust existing drawings to meet project specifications, and ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.
- Design and produce technical drawings for site setting out and related civil engineering activities.
- Modify and update existing drawings as required.
- Liaise with engineers, customers and clients to confirm design requirements.
- Submit drawings in accordance with project timelines.
- Attend site visits to verify design accuracy.
Requirements
- Background in Construction/Civils/Groundwork/Geological-Environmental/Structural engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with REVIT desirable but not essential.
- Practical experience with a variety of CAD packages.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Strong organisational and communication skills, capable of liaising with third parties.
- Full, valid UK driver’s licence.
