Early Years Practitioner
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team as an Unqualified Early Years Practitioner. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children's learning, development and wellbeing in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the day-to-day care and supervision of children.
* Assist with activities that encourage children's communication, social, physical and creative development.
* Help children with daily routines, including mealtimes, transitions, tidying up and personal care where appropriate.
* Prepare learning areas and resources, ensuring rooms are clean, organised and ready for use.
* Maintain high standards of hygiene, health and safety throughout the setting.
* Observe children's development and share relevant information with colleagues.
* Follow safeguarding, child protection and nursery policies at all times.
* Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers and team members.
Skills and Qualities
* A genuine passion for working with young children.
* Caring, patient and positive attitude.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to learn and take guidance from experienced practitioners.
* Understanding of safeguarding, hygiene and health and safety requirements.
