My client are seeking a commercially minded Director of Technology and Transformation to lead transformation, strengthen operational excellence, and ensure technology delivers real value across the organisation.
Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a pivotal role that will influence the next phase of the organisations technology journey by building a responsive, collaborative, and forward-thinking IT function.
Key Areas of Delivery
* Translate our IT and digital strategy into a clear execution roadmap with milestones, accountability and measurable impact.
* Lead major transformation programmes, including AI adoption, automation, and end-to-end process integration.
* Work closely with senior leadership to shape priorities that support growth, profitability and an enhanced customer experience.
* Evolve the IT operating model to focus on innovation, service excellence and strong business partnership.
* Strengthen governance, security and risk management frameworks.
* Modernise infrastructure through cloud‑first, secure and scalable technology solutions.
* Oversee disaster recovery, business continuity and cyber‑security programmes to ensure organisational resilience.
* Manage budgets effectively and maximise ROI across all IT investments.
* Promote a culture of proactive engagement, ensuring IT collaborates closely and effectively across the Group.
* Present complex technical concepts in a clear, concise and commercial manner to non‑technical stakeholders.
* Build strong vendor relationships to ensure high performance, value and innovation.
* Lead, inspire and develop a high‑performing IT team with a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous learning.
* Champion innovation, inclusion and empowerment across the function.
* Build succession strength and deepen technical capability within the team.
* Stay ahead of emerging technologies and assess how they can support future growth and efficiency.
Key Experience and Skills
* Experience working in a multi‑site environment and delivering transformation.
* Experience delivering AI strategy including process optimisation and data agenda.
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build trusted, long‑term relationships across all levels.
* In‑depth knowledge of Cyber security threats and mitigation strategy.
* A collaborative, approachable leadership style with the ability to influence and inspire.
* Adaptability in fast‑moving environments where priorities shift and new opportunities emerge.
* A commitment to continuous learning, personal development and staying current with industry and regulatory changes.
